1. The reason of material blocking
The main reason is too much material piled inside the crushing chamber which not being discharged and block the movable cone that cause the electric motor stop for overload. There are two situations cause the above problem. One is the high output of the crusher, plate feeder cannot transport in time, the other is the downstream equipment stopped work, while jaw crusher keeps on crushing. Once the problem happens, it takes at least one hour to clean the piled materials.
2. Solve method of material blocking
One way is by use of an acousto-optic indicator to discharge material. Another way is install electric bell and alarm light in the feed opening which connects with the relay of cabinet. In this way, when plate feeder reaches the set current value, relay close, alarm light flash, and electric bell ring. If the downstream equipment stop working, the current of feeder becomes zero, the operator must stop feed by receiving the display from acousto-optic indicator.
